About Me

I’m Randal Caldwell, owner of Asheville Droneworks. Every project I take on receives my full, personal attention, from initial planing to the final edits. Based in Western North Carolina, I’m an FAA-licensed pilot with a UAS (Part 107) certification, specializing in both aerial and ground photography and videography. Using professional drones, an array of ground equipment and advanced editing software, I personally handle every aspect to ensure exceptional results tailored to your needs. Over half of my workload is dedicated to long-term environmental, engineering annd construction aerial site documentation. I pride myself on building lasting client partnerships, delivering consistent, highly precise drone data and progress tracking throughout the entire lifespan of major civil and environmental projects.

Beyond large-scale site work, I provide comprehensive commercial and residential real estate media, land assessments, and asset inspections for regional investors and agents. Navigating the rugged terrain of Western North Carolina is part of the job. I’m always willing to hike the acreage required to ensure complete, edge-to-edge coverage.
